Aksara Wreṣāstra, the basic consonants, in their traditional order. Every consonant carries a built-in “a”. Small signs above, below and beside it change the vowel. Pick a letter to see how.

Learn the system
Start with how an abugida works: each consonant carries an inherent vowel, and signs around it change the sound. Explore the basic consonants, the vowels and the extended consonants at your own pace.
Write it by hand
Trace and write every character, from basic letters to conjuncts and diacritics. Built-in spaced repetition helps the shapes stay with you.
Type it anywhere
Nyurat, the keyboard extension, brings Aksara Bali to messages, notes and social media, with word suggestions, a QWERTY layout and themes. Switch back to your system keyboard in a tap.
