Clean a large, messy music library in one pass.

Built for libraries that choke other editors
Every file in your library is a row. Select one track or ten thousand, type a value, and it propagates instantly. Configurable columns, named column presets, and one-click saved custom workflows keep repetitive jobs fast.
Nothing is written to disk until you explicitly confirm Apply. Every pending change is visible before it lands, and multi-level Undo means a mistake is never permanent.
Unknown tracks? Retag can fingerprint audio with AcoustID and match it against MusicBrainz to fill in artist, album, title, year, and track number — no manual searching required. Discogs lookup and Cover Art Archive artwork are also built in.
Build a filename pattern from your tags — artist, album, track number, title — and see the result for every selected file before committing. Plex, Jellyfin, and Navidrome naming presets are included out of the box.
Import tracks directly from your Apple Music library (read-only, with your consent) to bring them into the grid. Export cleaned copies or playlist files in M3U, PLS, XSPF, or CSV format for Plex, Jellyfin, or Navidrome.
Case unification, encoding (mojibake) repair, ID3v1 strip, FLAC ID3-to-Xiph normalisation, ratings (POPM), lyrics editor, and copy or move files to organised folder structures — all in the same session as your batch edits.

hello@arrcade.devRetag does not track you, collect analytics, or require an account. All tag editing is local — your files never leave your Mac. The only network activity is optional, user-initiated lookups to MusicBrainz, Discogs, AcoustID, and Cover Art Archive, which you trigger explicitly.
