Click the menu-bar icon to open the popover and turn On Duty on or off. Or press ⌃⌥⌘J from any app without breaking focus.
On Duty watches for real user input and suppresses nudging while your hands are on the keyboard or trackpad. After a configurable grace period of continued idleness, nudging resumes quietly. The cursor never moves while you're working.
Set a battery floor — On Duty stops automatically and sends a notification when your Mac drops below it. Works while your laptop is unplugged and unattended.
Slide from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The default is 60 seconds, which keeps presence signals alive in Slack and Teams without being perceptible.
On Duty makes no network calls. No analytics, no crash reporters that phone home, no subscription. Your settings stay on your Mac in UserDefaults.
No Dock icon, no windows, no distractions. On Duty is there when you need it and invisible when you don't. Open at Login is opt-in and off by default.
