Overview
Numbers: Place Value Chart is an education app that helps children learn place value through interactive, colour-coded digit cards and activities. We built it with one guiding principle: your child's learning data stays with you.
This policy explains how the app handles information on Android and iOS. The short version: the app does not collect, transmit, store on a server, or share any personal or sensitive user data. Everything it needs to work stays on your device.
Numbers: Place Value Chart collects no personal information. Anand Raj R (ARRcade) has no access to your child's learning progress, activity data, or any other data. The app contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs, and your information never leaves your device.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal or sensitive user data. The table below lists every type of information the app handles and where it lives:
| Data Type | Where It's Stored | Collected by us? |
|---|---|---|
| Learning progress and activity completion | Your Device | No |
| App settings and preferences | Your Device | No |
| Names, email, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers or advertising ID | Not accessed | No |
Learning progress is saved only in the app's private storage on the device so your child can pick up where they left off. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
The app does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash-reporting SDKs (such as Firebase or Crashlytics), social media SDKs, or any other third-party service that could collect data about you or your child.
Device Permissions
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, accounts, or any other personal information on your device. No account or sign-in is needed to use it.
App Stores & Payments
Numbers: Place Value Chart is a paid app. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your name, payment card details, or other billing information.
Google and Apple may collect information when you download, buy, or use apps through their stores — for example purchase records and, if you have allowed it in your device settings, anonymous crash and performance data. That collection is done by them, not by the app, and is governed by their own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy (Google Play, Android)
- Apple Privacy Policy (App Store, iOS)
We may see aggregated, anonymous statistics from these stores (such as download counts or crash rates) in Google Play Console and App Store Connect. These statistics do not identify you or your child.
Data Sharing
Because the app collects no personal or sensitive user data, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or transfer. Specifically:
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.
- We do not use analytics services (no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel).
- We do not integrate advertising or social media SDKs.
- We do not run a server that receives app data.
If you email us for support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your email with anyone.
Data Retention & Deletion
- On-device data: kept on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the app (or clearing its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Numbers → Storage) permanently removes all of it.
- Support emails: kept only as long as needed to answer your question, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time by emailing the privacy contact above.
- Server data: none — we hold no account or usage data, so there is nothing else to delete.
Children's Privacy
Numbers: Place Value Chart is designed for children. We take children's privacy seriously, and our approach is simple: we don't collect information about anyone.
The app does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from children, including children under 13. It has no ads, no third-party SDKs, no in-app chat or social features, no external links inside the learning activities, and no account creation. This approach is designed to meet the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR rules for children's data, and the Google Play Families Policy.
All learning progress stays on the device. Parents and guardians can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Because the app stores data only on your device, you are always in direct control of it:
- Access: open the app to see your child's progress.
- Correction: progress updates automatically as activities are completed.
- Deletion: uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove all data permanently.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, India, California, or anywhere else with data protection laws, you can contact us to exercise any right you have under those laws, including for any support email you sent us. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Security
The most secure data is data that is never collected. The app's design keeps your information protected by your device's own security.
- Progress is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read, and is protected by Android and iOS device encryption.
- The app transmits no data over the internet, so there is no data in transit to intercept.
- No passwords, accounts, or credentials are needed.
- We operate no servers that hold user data, so there is no server-side breach risk.
Policy Changes
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and describe the change in the app's release notes on Google Play and the App Store. If a future version ever collected data, we would update this policy and the store data-safety disclosures before releasing it, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
The current version is always available at this page, which is linked from the app's Google Play and App Store listings.
