Calcbar is a calculator app built by ARRcade. We built this app with one guiding principle: everything stays on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how Calcbar handles information when you use the app. The short version: we don't collect, store, or share any of your data. Every calculation you perform happens entirely on your device.

📋 Data We Collect

Calcbar is designed to operate without collecting any personal information. Here is a complete breakdown:

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or any third-party services that might collect data about your usage.

🧮 How It Works

Calcbar is designed to be fast, local, and private by default. Here is what happens when you use it:

• Every calculation is performed locally on your device — no server is contacted.
• No network access — Calcbar does not connect to the internet for any reason.
• No logging — we do not record, store, or transmit your calculations or inputs.
• No clipboard monitoring — Calcbar only reads the clipboard when you explicitly paste.
• No background processes — when you close Calcbar, it does nothing.

🔒 Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. There are no exceptions. Specifically:

• We do not sell personal information — because we don't have any to sell.
• We do not share data with advertisers or marketing platforms.
• We do not use analytics services (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude).
• We do not integrate social media SDKs.
• We do not have a backend server that receives any app data.

If you contact us by email for support, we will use your email address only to respond to your inquiry. We will not add you to mailing lists or share your email with anyone.

⚖ Your Rights

Because Calcbar stores no data beyond your on-device preferences, you have complete control at all times.

• Access: There is no personal data to access — we hold none.
• Deletion: Delete the app to remove all local preferences permanently.
• Portability: No personal data exists to port.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), this design means your GDPR rights are inherently satisfied — no formal request to us is required because no personal data is processed.

For California residents: Aksara Bali does not sell personal information, so CCPA opt-out rights do not apply.

🛡 Security

The most secure data is data that isn't collected. Our privacy-first architecture means your information is protected by the same security built into your Apple device.

• Local preferences are protected by iOS data protection and device encryption.
• The keyboard extension runs in a restricted iOS sandbox with no network access.
• No passwords, accounts, or credentials are required to use Calcbar.
• No data traverses ARRcade servers, eliminating server-side breach risk entirely.

📣 Policy Changes

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify users through an app update notice in the App Store.

Given our architecture — no data collection, no servers, no accounts — there is very little about this policy that could meaningfully change. Any change that introduced data collection would require explicit opt-in from users.
